MediaDonuts is an advertising and technology platform that helps advertisers achieve their performance and branding goals across digital media channels. Currently, MediaDonuts Vietnam wants  to penetrate Ha Nou Market for GrabAds and hence we collaborate with the leading companies to organize educational events to raise awareness and attract potential clients for the advertising solutions.  

Since the target audience for MediaDonuts' solutions are big agencies and brands, we did't use paid media to reach them but rather through our professional network and communities. 

AWAKEN BREAD

Client: Awaken Bread
Campaign objective: To acquire new customers through messaging
Results: 200+ messages with 2.5 ROI

Awaken Bread is a young brand founded by my team and we need to validate the business idea and determine the target audience within 3 weeks with a limited budget. 
The brand offers 3 kinds of bread only which are rye bread, rye bread with mixed nuts, and charcoal sandwich.

How we validate our business idea?
Limited time and budget is a real challenge to our team. We spent the 1st week to design and finalize the logo, brand guidelines, and product packing. Starting from the second week, ads were run to offer a special rate for product trials. 

The sales revenue was really good in the first week, we got an average of 50 orders every day. After that, we then switch to the official price and the number of orders reduced significantly. We then had to design the new images and offered new deals to our customers and the sales have increased again.

These information allows us to make the rational decision on how to set the price for our products and at the same time gains more insight on what kind of languaging, images do our customers resonate with the most.

How to determine our target audience?
We'are tracking our returned customers manually and most of them are living and working in districts 1, 2, 3, and 7 who are white-collar workers.  
Moving forward, we can also leverage on Facebook Audience Insight once more data is collected

Campaign objective: To generate leads for the workshop in 6 cities in Malaysia
Results: 1000+  leads within 30 days 

A one-month lead generation campaign to acquire new workshop attendees in 6 different cities (Kuala Lumpur, Johor Bahru, Melaka, Penang, Seremban, and Ipoh.)

Facebook Ads, Chatbot, and Landing was used to generate leads.

Mechanism

First, the video view ads were run to build awareness and warm up the audience.
After that, retargeting campaigns were run to direct the audience to Admas Pee - Ultimate Business Growth Landing page where they got an offer for a free workshop/ online webinar.

Participants sign up to join either a free workshop or an online webinar on "How to grow their business in digital age" will need to provide their name, email and phone number. Once they join the event, they will be provided values and then offered a 3 day intensive training.

Sunsweet Eat Good Feel Good Campaign

Campaign objective: To improve brand engagement and generate leads 
Results: 6000 leads within 30 days, 2 million video view on Youtube  and Facebook

A 2 month online campaign to engage with its audience whilst spreading the goodness of Sunsweet products. The campaign titled "Sunsweet Eat Good Feel Good" ran from 22nd October - 21st December 2020. Facebook Ads were used to direct the audience to Sunsweet Malaysia official Website and there are 2 waves of the campaign.

Mechanism

2. Answer two simple questions about Sunsweet Prunes.
3. Fill in your details so Sunsweet can contact you if you're selected as the lucky winner.
4. Share the unique link with 5 friends for a higher chance of winning!

Prizes:
Grand Prize: 13-inch Macbook Air


The First Wave of the campaign, “Watch & Win Macbook Air”, encouraged audience to watch Sunsweet’s official TVC on the official website and answer a couple of simple questions. One lucky winner, Sharilla Binti Muhammad Faisal, was awarded a Macbook Air.

The Second Wave of the campaign encouraged the audience to “Snap Sunsweet Moments” with any Sunsweet products and post to social media (Facebook and Instagram) with the hashtag #MYSunsweetMoments. To be qualified, participants were required to submit the URL of the post onto the contest form on Sunsweet Malaysia official website.

Over 400 entries were received and three winners were chosen. As the first prize winner, Nor Amira Binti Mohd Amin won an iPhone XS while Ahmad Kairudin Bin Razali won RM2,000 worth of shopping voucher as the second prize winner and the third prize winner, Mohd Zul Idzham Bin Zulkafli, won RM1,500 worth of AirAsia e-gift voucher.
